Overview
As in most developing countries, disabled people in Vietnam do not receive the level of support they need. It is estimated that nearly seven million people in Vietnam are disabled (8% of the population).
We support both government and private charitable organisations that provide care for physically and mentally disabled people from low income families. These projects assist families in managing their loved one’s disability and help the disabled children and young adults become more independent.
Volunteering with disabled people is a challenging but highly rewarding experience. Using your creativity, emotional strength and resourcefulness to help such vulnerable people will not only change their life but yours as well.
Those with specific skills such as Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy will be placed within more specialised roles.
Arrival airport: Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi (airport code HAN)
